adrogynous Theology-...when we limit God to a male image with only male characteristics, we're embraing half of God at best. His traits aren't limited to any gender or paradigm. God is infinite. I also embrace Energy-Consciousness-Field-Spirit which has no gender. I also embrace Sophia which is feminine wisdom from time eternal. I understand the Shamanic history of acknowledging Father Sky and Mother Earth. It doesn't need to be confusing, nor limited to one gender. Who can limit God: other than religion? Archaeological findings, especially in Europe, show that from about midway through the ice age and until 4,000 BCE (6,000 years ago), God was Goddess. In essence the divine was postured in the feminine. For the last 6,000 years God has been represented by the masculine. The paradigm of the masculine without the feminine is a limited and lacking one.
